Beyond Talk Therapy:
Using Experiential processes for Inner Child work

Objectives:
- Gain a working understanding of Inner Child work, and how to use it to help clients increase self-regulation skills.
- Increase your capacity to track your client’s arousal level in order to help them safely process trauma.
- Learn to use a variety of Inner Child work experiential processes taught and practiced in groups and dyads in order to apply these methods in clinical settings with clients post-training.
- Discuss assessing and identifying the appropriateness and timing of utilizing Inner Child work experiential processes with clients.
Presenter Bio: Amina Re is a licensed professional clinical counselor in private practice located in Santa Fe, NM. Amina brings seventeen years’ experience as a massage therapist and cranial sacral therapist, three years’ experience as a group facilitator in a residential trauma treatment center, and two decades as a group facilitator in a variety of experiential and expressive arts therapies. Amina is also a painter and an improvisational dancer.
Event Location: Course will be held in-person, in accordance with state mandates. Meeting space is in Santa Fe, NM. If regulations change to restrict in-person meetings, the course will be rescheduled and, if necessary, fees fully refunded.
Cost: $180 early bird, by May 15, 2021. $210 after May 15, 2021. Registration fees are refundable, (less $50 administration fee) if postmarked no later than 3 weeks (June 5, 2021) before group begins. In order to obtain a certificate of completion, you must attend the training in its entirety. No partial credit will be given.
